A big round of applause to the producer Marko Jaćimović and scriptwriter Ana Vujadinović, the creators of “Planet 7693”! The Montenegrin project have received a South Eastern Europe Cinema Network (SEE Cinema Network) grant for development of feature-length projects.

Marko and Ana take part in this year’s Kids Kino.Lab workshop under the supervision of Philip LaZebnik and Ronald Kruschak.

We fell in love with the project during the Kids Kino Industry forum where it was presented within the Project in development section. At the closing ceremony the project won the free participation in the 5th edition of the Kids Kino.Lab – we are so glad that you’ve accepted our award and we can watch how the project evolves.

“Planet 7693”

Luka lives with his quite harmonious and pleasant family in a very interesting neighbourhood in the suburbs. During a turbulent period, big misunderstandings and conflicts start to emerge within the family. Left alone, Luka immerges himself in fiction, trying to find a solution for all the problems. He meets a girl in an abandoned factory complex where he often spends his time practising his “superpowers” and she begins to help Luka develop a plan to fix the now-endangered family relationships.

“Planet 7693” will be directed by Gojko Berkuljan. The film received a grant from Film Centre of Montenegro in 2020 for production of film works for children and youth.
