It is time to begin our nearly year-long journey! Kids Kino Lab 2022 begins on 11th January with an online session.
Despite many efforts to make this first session in Lodz, Poland, we decided that for the sake of common safety we have to change the on-site formula to online. And we don’t feel discouraged by that fact. Our tutors are already waiting and ready to help you set the project on the right development and production track.
The first successes of the participants of the previous edition (which was largely based on the online formula) have shown us that Kids Kino Lab workshops in the virtual version can also bring the expected results. The projects from our previous edition, which ended with a pitching at Kids Kino Industry in September 2021, have already had their first victories: South Eastern Europe Cinema Network (SEE Cinema Network) grant for development of feature-length projects (Planet 7963), script development funding from the Austrian Film Institute (Who’s that bird?), funding for development from the Polish Film Institute (Nina), script development funding from the Belgian Film Fund (Ghostly Company), received a Sardegna Film Commission – Explore Sardegna Pitching Award and M:brane award at Kids Kino Industry (Anna’s World) to name some of them.
This time we have 13 projects on board. For more information about the proejcts and Kids Kino Lab 2022 participants download the catalogue or check it here.
