Logline:
Nine-year-old Maja covers up her mother’s alcohol problems from the outside world and is at the same time the caretaker of her little brother. She does not understand the pressure she is living under or what she is missing out in her childhood. Maja’s life turns upside-down during the Christmas period on a family farm. On the farm she meets a caring and wise Grandmother, a scary but misunderstood Uncle, a mythological creature, and a life changing journey starts for everyone.

Anita Killi
scriptwriter
Anita Killi studied illustration and graphic design at the Norwegian National College of Art & Design from 1988, followed by studies in animation and documentary filmmaking at Volda University College. In 1996, Anita graduated from the Oslo National Academy of the Arts with a master’s degree, majoring in animation (multiplane technique). Anita runs her own animation studio, Trollfilm, established in 1995. She is known for directing several award-winning short films, such as Angry Man (2009).

Lillian Løvseth
producer
Lillian Løvseth graduated in culture project management and film and television science from Lillehammer University College, with specialization in film, television and stage production in 2015. She has worked in several production companies (most recently as a junior producer in Mer Film: Flee, Disco, The Innocents) and as a production advisor in the regional film center. She has also produced several short films and currently has many projects in development or production. Lillian focuses on regional films with an international approach.
