Marek Chalupa studied aesthetics at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University in Prague. He writes poetry and lyrics. He is a member of the alternative section of the theatre group V.A.D. Kladno. In the group, he participates as an actor, musician, and co-author in productions that achieve success at festivals in the Czech Republic and other countries. He collaborated with his sister Barbora Chalupová on the documentary films Do zbraně and Reality. He wrote the screenplay for her feature graduate short film Con Spiro. Also in collaboration with Barbora Chalupová, he wrote the first version of the screenplay for the film Stroj na krásné počasí (formerly titled Boží posel), for which he and his sister were awarded the Star of Tomorrow prize by Filmová Nadace.

Pavla Klimešová is a producer based in Prague in Czechia. Pavla holds a master’s degree from the Department of Production at FAMU. She worked as an executive producer and co-produced an award-winning film by the directing duo Vít Klusák and Barbora Chalupová, Caught in the Net, about child abuse online. With Barbora Chalupová, she made a documentary about same-sex marriages, The Law of Love, and with Vít Klusák – One Second Forever, about speeding behind the wheel.
