Logline:
“Summer in the Gardens” is a crime/ adventure story. The historic city of Kraków is shaken by the great robbery in the Royal Castle. The police are helpless – but one person picks up the trail of the robbery. It is Bubble Boy – a kid, who lives in a rainbow bubble, separating him from the external world. It is his source of strength, and, at the same time, his biggest vulnerability. Along with band of other social outsiders, he sets out to uncover the mystery in this tale of self-acceptance.

Director, screenwriter and lecturer of the Warsaw Film School. His movies include “What Nobody Knows” (short, 2008), “Public Outrage” (2009) and “Delivery by Christmas” (2022, co-directed with A. Kułakowska). He also worked on a number of TV shows; he co-developed the concept for the recent Canal+ series “Sortownia” (together with A. Kułakowska and M. Rakowicz).

Maria Pułaska-Białkowska

Producer and screenwriter. She worked on a number of notable Polish films, such as “Suicide Room”, “You Are God” or “Man, Chicks Are Just Different”. In 2015 she served as a producer and PR manager for Oscar-nominated short documentary “Our Curse”. In December 2022 her latest production, Netflix-produced dramedy “Delivery by Christmas”, which she co-developed, premiered in the streaming service.
